Dr John Havard MBBS, FRCGP, DRCOG, FPCert - Senior Partner

I qualified from the Royal Free Hospital in London in 1982 and have been a GP in Saxmundham since 1986. My particular interest is medical innovation and have worked on projects as diverse as InstantCare to prevent hospital admissions and Facelook to try to tackle social isolation using Skype. I am currently trying to develop a new indwelling urinary catheter to replace the Foley which was designed in 1937.

Dr Clare Craik BM, BCh, MRCGP, PhD - Partner

After qualifying from Oxford University in 1992 I completed my GP training in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire before becoming a Partner in Henley-on-Thames.

With our young family we moved back to my home county of Suffolk where I worked as a Partner in Halesworth before joining the team in Saxmundham. My medical interests include Ear Nose and Throat and medical education, and outside of work I enjoy the challenges of gardening alongside rabbits and home baking.

Dr Zoe Wragg MBChB,  MRCGP,  DRSH 

I qualified as a doctor from Leeds University in 2003, and as  GP in 2008. Prior to this I worked as a Registered Nurse for 4 years.
 

I moved to Suffolk from Yorkshire in 2017 for family reasons, and worked as a Partner for 7 years, then a salaried GP for 2 years, in 2 busy Ipswich practices.
 

I'm interested in the whole range of primary care, including but not limited to women's health and mental health. I've traditionally been involved with training new GP's to pass on my love for our increasingly stretched but still amazing, primary care system in the UK. 
 

Outside of work I'm very fit and active, and go the they gym most mornings to support my love of doing competitive sports around Europe (Hyrox races). They're a great way to explore new countries and cities whilst staying fit and healthy, and easier than running marathons. 

Dr Dan Catmull MBBS, BSc, MRCGP, DOccMed

I qualified from St Bartholomew's and the Royal London medical school in 2003. I initially undertook surgical training before moving into general practice.  I worked as a partner in Essex for 14 years before moving to New Zealand in 2023.  I have returned to soak up to Suffolk sunshine and sights. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family, as well as hiking, cycling, art, music and wine.

Dr Mike Hamblyn MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP

After an extended educational pre-amble gaining a BA in Geography at Hull University in 1992 (one of  England’s three greatest Universities alongside Oxford and Cambridge), I qualified in Medicine from University College London Medical School in 1998. I joined Saxmundham Health in 2002. 

Outside of work I have a busy family life which doesn’t leave much time for anything else.

Sadly my Geography knowledge is relegated to being a specialist subject on Quiz Night which, as Dr Havard will attest, usually goes very badly!

Dr Adam Mowles BMedSci BMBS MRCGP

I qualified at the University of Nottingham in 1992. I moved back to my home county of Suffolk for my GP training based at Ipswich Hospital. After 15 years as a Partner at an Ipswich surgery, I joined the team at Saxmundham Health in 2015.

Away from the job, I enjoy spending time on the Suffolk coast with my family. I spend (too much) time listening to music, at Snape and elsewhere.

Dr Jessica Milton MBChB BSc DRCOG DFFP DCH

I qualified in 2000 at Liverpool University medical school.

I joined Saxmundham surgery in 2015. Prior to moving to Suffolk I trained and worked in Bristol. 

I have a special interest in Women's Health including family planning. I am a coil and implant fitter. I have recently been accredited with an Advanced certificate in the Principles and Practice of menopause care. My other clinical interests include Paediatrics, Dermatology and Medical Education and I am enjoying my new role as a GP Trainer. 

Outside of work I enjoy running, cycling, and cooking for my friends and family.

Dr Darren West MBBS, MRCGP

I qualified from Barts and The London medical school in 2001 and moved to Ipswich in 2002 to begin my GP training.

After completing my training I worked in a central Ipswich practice until 2022. During my time there I was involved in training medical students, trainee GPs and a Physician Associate. In 2022 I joined the team at Saxmundham as a full time GP.
